Victoria Abramchenko announced the program of the Ecology Day at the RUSSIA EXPO
On Friday,
January 26, Deputy Prime Minister Victoria Abramchenko will take part in events
within the framework of the Ecology Day at the RUSSIA EXPO.
Visitors to
the exposition will be able to take part in environmental quizzes, attend
screenings of documentaries, listen to lectures on conscious consumption, as
well as win a trip to Lake Baikal, certificates to visit eco-trails and
ski-passes of the Krasnaya Polyana resort, as well as other valuable prizes.
According
to Victoria Abramchenko, the opening event with the participation of business
representatives and regional leaders will be the plenary session Investments in
Ecology - Investments in the Future.
The
participants will discuss the environmental achievements of business and the
introduction of new technological solutions that significantly reduce the
anthropogenic load on the environment. Deputy Prime Minister pointed out that
today due to the national project Ecology millions of citizens have already
felt the results of the removal of unauthorized urban dumps, cleaning of water
bodies from garbage and modernization of industrial enterprises in cities.
The
business program of the Ecology Day consists of several expert panels and pitch
sessions. They will be held in Pavilion No. 75. Representatives of companies
and regions will discuss the transition to a closed-cycle economy, reduction of
emissions into the atmospheric air, subsoil use projects and disposal of
objects of accumulated harm. Representatives of such companies as Russian
Ecological Operator, Rosatom, Sibur, Novolipetsk Steel (NLMK), Severstal,
Surgutneftegaz, Norilsk Nickel, EVRAZ and many others will take part in the
discussions.
On Ecology
Day it will be possible to test ecological transport. Near the Prirodograd
Pavilion, the Evolute plant will present four eco-cars produced in the Lipetsk
region.
A plastic recycling laboratory will also be open throughout the day at the Prirodograd Pavilion. In addition, children and adults will be welcome at numerous masterclasses and lectures dedicated to conscious consumption. The educational program will be held in such pavilions as House of Polymers, Rosneft, Sber, Atom.
Guests of the exposition will be able to take part in cultural and sporting events. For example, ecological quizzes and documentary film screenings are organized. Pavilions House of Polymers and Sport for Everyone will host tournaments with a basketball made of recycled plastic.
The final panel pitching session for the "Investments in Connectivity" track took place on 29 April at the National Centre RUSSIA.
On the second day of the Open Dialogue "The Future of the World. New Platform for Global Growth" the most remarkable essays submitted by authors in each track were presented.
The topic "Investments in Human Capital" attracted the largest number of essays from around the world, becoming one of the most in-demand themes within the framework of the Open Dialogue.
