Virtual blended with real: phygital Sports Tournament
The
Friendship of Regions Interregional Phygital Sports Tournament was held at the
RUSSIA EXPO. This is a type of event that combines competitions in virtual
space and classical sports.
Three teams
representing the Samara region, the Penza region and the Republic of Mordovia
took part in the tournament. Among the players were famous Russian athletes,
participants of the Olympic Games, European and World champions in various
sports.
"It
was as if I was in another reality - very bright and exciting, though virtual.
The whole game was on adrenaline, I liked it very much, and if before that,
when my children played, I watched them from the sidelines, now I will
certainly join them", - said Natalia Sharafutdinova, an athlete from the
Penza region, Honored Master of Sports of Russia, participant of three Olympic
Games in swimming in 2000, 2004 and 2008.
The winner of the competition was the team of the Penza region. The second place was taken by representatives of the Republic of Mordovia, and the third - by players from the Samara region.
It should be reminded that the International RUSSIA EXPO is open from Tuesday through Sunday, Monday is a technical day. The best time to visit is in the mornings and on weekdays, but the exposition is open to everyone on weekends as well. All expositions and events are free of charge.
The final of the All-Russian intellectual tournament Znanie.Game was held at the National Centre RUSSIA.
The team of the National Centre RUSSIA, headed by Director General Natalia Virtuozova, visited the Khabarovsk Territory on a working trip.
