"Vivat, Bayan!" — a high-profile event in the world of bayan art and one of the most prestigious international competitions for bayanists and accordionists — is taking place these days at the RUSSIA EXPO. Guests are invited to enjoy performances at the preliminary rounds, a grand parade of bayanists, and the concert "World Hits" performed by the bayan orchestra.

The contest "Vivat, Bayan!" annually gathers hundreds of talented musicians from all over the country and abroad. Many of the contestants and laureates have already become recognized masters of musical art, performing with solo concerts all over the world. Since 2002, the contest has been held annually in the Samara region, its idea belongs to Merited Artist of Russia Sergei Voitenko - the founder and permanent artistic director of "Vivat, Bayan!". This year for the first time the competition is held in Moscow at VDNH as part of the International RUSSIA EXPO, giving all visitors a unique opportunity to watch the performances of future stars.

The qualifying stages of the XXII International Competition "Vivat, Bayan!" will be held from June 25 to 27 at the RUSSIA EXPO in the House of Culture of VDNH (Pavilion D, Pavilion 84) from 10:00 to 17:00. Admission is free.

On June 27, we invite you to witness the grandiose event "Triumph of the Russian Bayan". The largest combined orchestra of bayanists, accordionists and squeezebox players will walk along the main avenue of VDNH and set a record for Russia. The colorful event will gather musicians from all over the country and abroad and will become the triumph of the Russian bayan! Musicians will demonstrate their skills in a festive procession, during which several records will be set: the largest mass procession and the largest combined orchestra of accordionists, bayanists and squeezebox players, as well as a world record — the largest mass performance of the Russian national anthem by such an orchestra. Come to support the participants and plunge into the exciting atmosphere of a truly epochal event!

And in the evening of the same day, musicians from the bayan and accordion orchestra will treat the audience to a magical evening of bayan artistry. At 19:00 on the Main Street Stage of the RUSSIA EXPO, a "World Hits" concert will take place. You can expect the performance of the Pavel Smirnov Orchestra of bayanists and accordionists (Russia), as well as the invited guest Petar Maric (Serbia, pop bayan). The program will feature world-famous musical works. Come to enjoy great music performed by recognized masters and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of a real musical feast.

June 25-27, VDNH, House of Culture.
