Vladimir Putin greeted the participants of the "The Day After Tomorrow" project session-festival
On November
25 at the International RUSSIA EXPO the closing ceremony of the
session-festival of the youth project "The Day After Tomorrow" took
place. It was held within the framework of the strategic program "Country
for Children" of the Russian Presidential Commissioner for Children's
Rights Maria Lvova-Belova.
Since 2022,
"The Day After Tomorrow" team has regularly held camp sessions for
teenagers from the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, Kherson and
Zaporozhye regions, as well as children whose relatives are involved in the
Special Military Operation. President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin
sent a greeting to the participants of the project.
"Dear
children! I greet you at the closing ceremony of the session-festival "The
Day After Tomorrow". Your colorful, extraordinary project has united
talented, dedicated young people from the Donetsk and Lugansk People's
Republics, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, striving to personally contribute to
the development of their home cities and settlements, to benefit the people. I
would like to note that the organizers have prepared a rich and varied program
for you. You could take part in roundtables and workshops, attend fascinating
excursions, compete in various sports. And of course, having visited the
International RUSSIA EXPO, you could see for yourself that together we are a
big, strong and beautiful country. I am sure that the festival was held at the
highest level, charged you with the energy of creation, opened new creative
horizons. The ideas and initiatives, proposed by every one of you, will
definitely translate into actual deeds and endeavors. I wish you success and
fulfillment of your plans", - said Vladimir Putin.
The program
of camp sessions under the project "The Day After Tomorrow" was primarily
aimed at stabilizing the psycho-emotional state of children who survived heavy
shelling, improving their self-esteem and gaining internal support. In addition
to psychological and pedagogical support, the children were also provided with
vocational guidance.
"A year and a half ago, when we started all this together with you, we thought that this is an ordinary camp session, which will allow you to just de-stress, socialize and find new friends, but now we understand that "The Day After Tomorrow" is a large community, so today we are not putting a period, but an ellipsis, and from next year we will open "Pulsars of the Day After Tomorrow" in your regions, and everything that was held in our camp sessions, will also be in your regions. And I am sure that you will carry the charge that you received at our sessions, these acquaintances, this outlook, and most importantly - this love for the great Russia to your friends and peers", - said Maria Lvova-Belova, Presidential Commissioner for Children's Rights of the Russian Federation.
The closing session-festival of the youth project "The Day After Tomorrow" was held from November 15 to 25 in the Moscow region on the basis of the Children's Health Camp "Litvinovo". More than 500 people took part in it.
