Russian President Vladimir Putin gave instructions to extend the International RUSSIA EXPO until July 8, as stated in the list of the President's instructions published on the Kremlin website on February 15.

"To the Government of the Russian Federation together with the Executive Office of the President of the Russian Federation to ensure the extension of the International RUSSIA EXPO until July 8, 2024 inclusive," reads the instruction.

"By decision of the President of Russia, our Exposition has been extended until July 8. This will give guests from the remotest corners of Russia the opportunity to visit us. We are happy to share the pride in our country's success with even more visitors. The Directorate of the Exposition will do its best to continue surprising and delighting its guests. We are happy that so many different people feel our special atmosphere of love and family warmth," said Natalia Virtuozova, Director General of the RUSSIA EXPO.

Additionally, Vladimir Putin instructed to develop and submit proposals for the creation of the RUSSIA National Center in Moscow with branches in the regions "in order to preserve the heritage of the International RUSSIA EXPO and to demonstrate the achievements of the Russian Federation in various sectors of the economy."

Earlier, the head of state praised the organization of the RUSSIA EXPO, which showcases 132 expositions with achievements in science, education, health, culture and economy of all regions at VDNH in Moscow.

The President noted that the RUSSIA EXPO presented things that used to be a dream.

"Here we wanted to show what our country has done over the past few years. And we have a lot to be proud of. The things presented here once used to be someone's dream," Vladimir Putin emphasized.

The International RUSSIA EXPO was launched on November 4, 2023. From November 9, 2023 to January 14, 2024, the exposition held days of regions, where their achievements were presented through economic, cultural and tourist potential. During the first 100 days of the exposition, the cultural, educational and business program hosted thousands of diverse events ranging from concerts and tours to expert panels with government representatives and major corporations.

About 500 excursions, masterclasses and lectures are held daily at the exposition, including those for families with children and young people. Guests have the opportunity to get acquainted with Russia's regions, their culture and customs. Thus, during the days of regions, guests attended weddings according to national and regional traditions.

Many events that are significant for our country have already taken place at the RUSSIA EXPO. For example, on January 23, President Vladimir Putin gave an official start to the Year of the Family in Russia within the framework of the Dear - Loved Ones forum. The forum culminated with the lighting of the All-Russian Family Hearth "Heart of Russia" on the Main Street Stage of the exposition. The fire for it was brought from the Holy Trinity Convent in Murom, and then delivered to all regions of the country.
