Vladimir chefs will present traditional dishes of the region at VDNH
Chefs from the Vladimir region will present the most unusual dishes of the region at the festival of culinary traditions of the International RUSSIA EXPO. They have already included pike burger with piquant spices, potato kolob, Murom kalach and much more in their menu.
Participation in the exposition, as well as the preservation of culinary traditions were discussed in Suzdal at the congress of Russia's best chefs. They talked about haute cuisine, shared their experience and, of course, treated each other.
Traditional dishes were shown in two variants - classic restaurant presentation and in the form of street food. It is important that even in the "street" format they managed to preserve uniqueness.
"The dishes differ fundamentally from the usual street food because they are prepared using traditional Russian recipes and products that were used in the Vladimir-Suzdal province", - said Nikita Shaposhnikov, vice president of the Vladimir Association of Culinary Workers.
By the way, even truffle is among traditional Suzdal delicacies. In the past, it was from here that most of the truffles were delivered to the Tsar's court.
Nowadays preservation of authentic cuisine is also important for tourism development. After all, travelers love delicious and unusual food.
"We'd very much like to always have quality food and variety, including the presence of local cuisine, which will allow tourists to familiarize themselves with the region even closer", - emphasized the minister of entrepreneurship and tourism of the Vladimir region Yulia Boyarkina.
The lecture "Come and See: The Feat of Newsreel Cameramen during the Great Patriotic War" took place as part of the "Thursday. Development".
The centre has become the first, unique, and multifunctional exhibition venue in Belarus, operated by the National Exhibition Centre "BelExpo."
On May 8, the audience at the National Centre RUSSIA enjoyed a performance by a combined children's wind orchestra, which launched the festive concert programme.
