Vologda residence of Ded Moroz to open at the RUSSIA EXPO
The Vologda region will present the lace residence of Ded Moroz at its stand at the International RUSSIA EXPO in Moscow.
In the residence of the winter wizard the guests will be presented the region’s achievements in the economy, industry, culture and other key sectors. Meetings with famous regional painters, cultural figures and artists, master classes in traditional folk crafts, and an introduction to the region’s cuisine are also planned at the stand. Games and quests with prizes from Ded Moroz himself are prepared for young guests.
"The stand of the Vologda region will be ready by October 18, being one of the first at VDNH. It will be made in the form of a copy of the residence of Ded Moroz. But it is not our usual domain, but a lace one. And in the carved windows, reminiscent of our famous palisade, it will be possible to get acquainted with the region’s economy, key industries, culture and much more", — said the Governor of the Vologda region Oleg Kuvshinnikov in his Telegram channel.
Special attention will be paid to local brands, promising projects, as well as tourist potential. A packed business program and a big concert are expected on the Day of the region.
The National Centre RUSSIA hosted the opening ceremony of the exposition "Geography Lessons".
