Volunteers of Victory visited the "Journey Across Russia" exposition of the National Centre RUSSIA
Participants
of the annual All-Russian rally "Ambassadors of Victory" visited the
large-scale "Journey Across Russia" exposition of the National Centre
RUSSIA on May 6, as part of the rally's opening ceremony. Divided into tour
groups, the 200 participants explored all of Russia's federal districts
represented at the exposition together with professional guides. The volunteers
especially highlighted the exposition's interactive features and discovered new
corners of the country.
"I
really love our country and its achievements. This exposition showcases all the
successes we have. In such a short period of time, we travelled across the
entire country — it’s very unusual. Each federal district's exposition is
unique; there is nothing repetitive or boring about it. I especially liked the
space dedicated to the Mariinsky Theatre in Saint Petersburg. Everyone was
taking pictures — the atmosphere was incredible," said Mikhail Odinoky, a
volunteer from the Ryazan region.
According
to Victory Volunteer Anastasia Permyakova from the Khabarovsk region, the
uniqueness of the exposition lies in the fact that most of the items can be
touched.
"I really enjoyed the 'Journey Across Russia' exposition. In such a short period of time, we visited all the federal districts and saw the main landmarks. What I liked the most was the area with the nuclear-powered icebreaker — there’s an interactive display there, and it was really interesting. I’ll definitely recommend this exposition to my friends," shared Anastasia Permyakova.
"Journey
Across Russia" is the kind of place you want to return to, noted Victory
Volunteer Viktor Lukyanov from the Bryansk region after the tour.
"It
was very educational and very interesting. There wasn’t a lot of time to
explore everything, but it was incredibly informative to see the diversity and
multinational character of our country. I hope to come back and study all the
displays in detail. I’ve always been fascinated by the northern regions, like
Yakutia. There are so many interesting facts and places to visit. I’ve been to
Karelia, a very unique place, and it was exciting to hear about it at the
National Centre RUSSIA," said Viktor Lukyanov.
The opening
ceremony of the annual All-Russian rally "Ambassadors of Victory"
took place at the National Centre RUSSIA on May 6. The event marked the
beginning of a programme in which 200 volunteers — winners of the competition
from different regions of Russia — arrived in Moscow to assist with the Victory
Parade on Red Square, as well as other commemorative events. The volunteers
will be supporting veterans, helping guide visitors, and assisting with other
organisational tasks. In 2025, the "Ambassadors of Victory" rally is
a particularly significant event as it coincides with the celebration of the
80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945.
