A new virtual tour has appeared among those available on the website of the National Centre RUSSIA: a tour of the "Book of Fairy Tales" exposition. It offers an opportunity to experience once again the atmosphere of the exposition, which ended at the National Centre RUSSIA in spring 2026, or to discover it for the first time in a modern 3D format, without leaving home and even from outside our country.

The "Book of Fairy Tales" exposition tells the story of the diversity of Russia’s regions through winter legends, folk crafts and images of traditional culture. The traditions of eight regions of our country were woven into a single magical narrative: the Kaliningrad Region, the Republic of Mordovia, the Vologda Region, the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area, the Republic of Karelia, Stavropol Territory, the Ryazan Region and the Komi Republic. Each of them brought its own chapter to this "book": vivid, distinctive and filled with unique symbols and meanings that had been shaped for centuries on our native land.

The exposition featured household items, dolls, elements of national costumes, old craft tools and artefacts, each of which told its own story. One of the main wonders of the exposition was the Firebird itself: every visitor who found it could make their most cherished wish.

The virtual 3D tour allows visitors to move through the halls at their own pace and spend more time wherever something is especially interesting: zooming in on and examining the exhibits, studying textures, reading descriptions and fully enjoying the fairy-tale atmosphere.

The pages of the "Book of Fairy Tales" remain open around the clock on the russia.ru website in the "Expositions" section, under "Virtual Tours of the National Centre RUSSIA". Follow the link, discover the traditions of the regions, look for the Firebird and make wishes: the magic continues online.
