Magic in the frame: the best locations for memorable photos at the National Centre RUSSIA
The National Centre RUSSIA is one of the most popular New
Year locations in Moscow for photography. The venue offers several spaces
designed for striking shots and family photo sessions. Guests are welcomed by
remarkable characters, futuristic sets, and fairytale interiors.
One of the main photo attractions is the interactive
travel-style exposition "Book of Fairy Tales", which is running at
the National Centre RUSSIA until 1 March 2026. Its spaces offer a particularly
wide range of opportunities for beautiful photos: the intimate Firebird
Library–Treasure Vault with rare books and antique illustrations; an
atmospheric crystal winter forest with shimmering decorations and storytelling
motifs from different regions of Russia; and a snow-covered terem with the main
New Year tree — a striking backdrop for family and festive photographs.
The exposition "Fairytale Legacy" by artist Liza
Anisimova at the Department Store RUSSIA of the National Centre RUSSIA is also
an excellent option. Characters from Russian folk tales and their imaginative
costumes, hand-painted fabrics, and decorative art objects create the
atmosphere of a living illustration. It is easy to take expressive portraits
here against the backdrop of elaborate costumes.
Another photo location is the educational cultural platform
"Space of Opportunities". A photo zone with AR technologies operates
here, allowing visitors to "fly" into space, turn into a fairytale
character, or take a picture together with Ded Moroz. For those who value
high-quality images, a small photo studio with professional lighting and
equipment is also available, allowing photographs to be saved immediately in
digital format.
All of these spaces are designed so that every guest leaves
not only with impressions, but also with beautiful, carefully composed
photographs. These are the very images people want to share on social media and
keep in their family archives.
The official website of the National Centre RUSSIA has opened a contest-based selection for the Young Journalists School.
The collection is based on the discussions, assessments and forecasts of the speakers who took part in the Symposium.
