Puffed halva and smoked African catfish: things to enjoy at the Farmers Fair
From February 13 to 18, you can taste unique products from all over the country in Pavilion No. 48. Guests will be offered a variety of tastes: meat and fish delicacies, gingerbread and oriental sweets, as well as famous cheeses.
This week's selection of meat products will be particularly satisfying. Chelyabinsk brand "Tavria", Russia's largest producer of raw smoked meat using traditional technology, is in charge of the tastiest sausage. Their delicacies even undergo increased control according to the international standard ISO 2200.
In addition, you can try the products of the Pskov brand "Red Banner" ("Krasnoye Znamya"), whose meat delicacies can also easily compete with the best European products. And of course, no one will be able to resist the Tula "Culinary Shop" with its classic beef brisket, pork ribs, knuckle, chicken wings and breast. One of the most interesting products is smoked African clarias catfish: its tender meat is almost boneless and does not have any smell of mud.
Cheese lovers should definitely try "Vorontsovskiye Cheeses", known throughout the country. The brand from Tatarstan has repeatedly taken gold at all-Russian competitions. All thanks to farm milk from cows and goats that graze in ecologically clean areas of the republic. The lineup includes classic soft and hard cheeses, as well as unusual options: cheese with pepper, lavender and aged in grape extract.
Those who can't resist sweet things, can look forward to the "Barnaul Halva Factory" and its main hit - puffed halva "Prestige", which melts in the mouth, reminiscent of meringue or cotton candy. Meanwhile, flax halva will please not only with its flavor, but also with its health benefits. After all, flax is a source of fatty acids Omega-3, 6, 9, it contains potassium, B vitamins, selenium, helps to cleanse and restore the functions of the gastrointestinal tract.
There will also be Tula and Pskov gingerbread, produced according to all canons exclusively from natural ingredients, and therefore incredibly tasty and tender. There will also be honey from Samara region under the brand "Uglovy's Apiary". The apiary is located in the protected area of the Samara region, as well as in the floodplain of the Sok River, and is a place where relict plants grow. All these sweets will be even tastier with a cup of fragrant tea from the Altai region.
