"Return with Victory": the legendary Bukhanka with messages will depart for the frontline from the National Centre RUSSIA
The "Vehicle for the Front" campaign took place on the territory of the National Centre RUSSIA on May 9 and was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. As part of the commemorative event, the organiser of the campaign, the People's Front, prepared a UAZ vehicle for the frontline, which will soon be sent to the front and will become a reliable assistant for the soldiers of the special military operation.
Before departure, the Bukhanka gathered warm wishes from visitors at the National Centre RUSSIA on Victory Day. Guests of the National Centre RUSSIA left many inscriptions on the body of the vehicle to send a bit of popular love, faith, and pride in the Heroes to the defenders.
Throughout the day, activists of the Youth Wing of the People's Front helped participants of the action leave their messages. Children drew suns and flags, adults wrote words of gratitude, and veterans, remembering their youth, left parting words—simple, but so important: "Return with Victory." The Bukhanka was blessed by a priest from the Church of Saint Seraphim of Sarov.
Soon, the UAZ will depart for the area of the special military operation in order to become not just transport, but a real symbol of support. It will be used to deliver essential cargo to the frontline.
This initiative became part of the People's Front action "Flame of Memory."
In 2025, the Eternal Flame from the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier travelled to 54 regions and 21 countries around the world, including brotherly Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, and for the first time — Zambia, India, Tanzania, and Venezuela.
The festive programme at the National Centre RUSSIA will continue on May 10. Guests can look forward to the quiz "All about Victory and More." All details are available on the website in the "Events" section.
