Everything warmest in my heart: Klava Koka takes part in the "Where Does the Motherland Begin?" project
The Motherland is not just a point on a map, nor only the city where you were born or raised. For many people, the feeling of the Motherland begins with family, with the first memories of home and the neighborhood where they grew up. Singer Klava Koka took part in the nationwide survey organised by the National Centre RUSSIA and shared what the Motherland means to her.
“For me, the Motherland begins with family. It begins with childhood conversations around the table, the smell of home, the special atmosphere in the courtyard — everything warmest that lives in my heart. As you grow older, you understand even more deeply the value of those moments. So much in my life is connected with the idea of the Motherland, but in any case, it all begins with family,” said Klava Koka.
During the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia, declared by President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, the National Centre RUSSIA launched the nationwide survey "Where Does the Motherland Begin?". The project brings citizens together around shared values and love for the country and is being implemented jointly with the Government of the Russian Federation and federal executive authorities. It is aimed at strengthening civic identity, preserving cultural diversity, and fostering national values through dialogue between generations and regions.
We invite you to share your own perspective: where does the Motherland begin for you? The survey is open until June 9 inclusive on the official website of the National Centre RUSSIA.
The international exposition-forum ARCH MOSCOW will open at Gostiny Dvor (the Old Merchant Court) on 27 May.
