The All-Russian Creative Contest CONTEXT was launched at the RUSSIA EXPO
The second season of the All-Russian Creative Contest
CONTEXT opened at the RUSSIA EXPO. The contest will help to discover the young
talents of our country and tell them what place the volunteerism holds in their
lives.
The goals of the contest are to develop art dedicated to
military feats, to thank volunteers who help soldiers in the special military
operation zone and their families, and to promote traditional values in Russian
society.
Russian citizens aged 14 and older are allowed to
participate in the contest; adult finalists will go to the
"Tavrida.Art" festival in Crimea in the summer. Nominations of the
second season are: "Poem", "Author's song",
"Photography", "Video Coverage" and "Media Article".
"The winners of the first season of the contest became
headliners of events and projects of Rosmolodezh directions, performed at the
Youth Day festival in their cities, and shared their experience in Crimea at
the "Tavrida.Art" festival. This year we have five nominations and
nine topics for participation," said Karina Sargsyan, Head of Special
Projects and Volunteer Events Department of Rosmolodezh.Kindness.
The topics for art works to be created by the contest
participants are: "225 years since the birth of Russian poet and writer
Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin", "215 years since the birth of Russian
writer Nikolai Vasilyevich Gogol", "220 years since the birth of
Russian composer Mikhail Ivanovich Glinka", "Preservation of folk
culture", "Volunteer activity in the sphere of culture",
"Spirituality as the origins of volunteerism", "Creative
activity through the years", "Volunteerism develops from
childhood" and "We help as the whole family".
"Young people across Russia can take part in the second
season of the competition. The contest itself is aimed at identifying creative
initiatives, including the field of volunteerism. Young families are also
invited to take part in the contest, as 2024 has been declared the Year of the
Family by the President of Russia. Acceptance of applications starts today and
will last until May 31," said Milena Bogdanova, the head of the
All-Russian public movement of volunteers in the sphere of culture
"Culture Volunteers".
Hosted festive events dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Association of Indigenous Small-Numbered Peoples of the North, Siberia, and the Far East of the Russian Federation, and the 95th anniversary of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area – Yugra.
The international campaign "Victory Dictation" took place in Moscow on April 25 across 497 venues.
Essayist participating in the Open Dialogue "The Future of the World. New Platform for Global Growth" took a guided tour of the interactive exposition "Journey Across Russia".
