Meet top athletes and see the Gagarin Cup: Hockey Day at the exposition
On Friday, February 9, the Wink cinema hall at the RUSSIA EXPO will host meetings with hockey stars and present the KHL's main trophy, the Gagarin Cup. Those who wish will be able to get autographs and take unique photos with the athletes.
At 12:00 and 13:00 there will be a meeting with Vyacheslav Anisin - multiple medalist and world champion with the famous "Red Machine". At 14:00 Almaz Garifullin, Russian champion and top sports manager, and Sergei Konkov, prize-winner and champion of Russia, two-time winner of the Gagarin Cup, will meet with the guests of the RUSSIA EXPO.
Everyone who comes wearing a hockey sweater, helmet, or at least a hockey team scarf will get a prize. But you shouldn't bring hockey sticks. Prizes will also be awarded to those who show their knowledge in a trivia quiz about hockey.
"It is quite symbolic that the Cup tour across Russia will start with the RUSSIA EXPO. It is extremely prestigious and honorable that Rostelecom organizes a bright and memorable sports festival for hockey fans and professionals from year to year," said Kiryukhina Kira Evgenievna, Vice-President for External Communications of Rostelecom PJSC.
The Hockey Day will continue at 15:30 with the public talk "EXTRA TIME" with interactive. Among the participants will be Almaz Garifullin and Sergei Konkov, bloggers and journalists Denis Kachin (HockeyBrothers), Ivan Tregubov (All Is Hockey) and Pavel Lysenkov (Lysenkov TV).
In the evening, stick and puck lovers will enjoy another hockey quiz at 19:45, and a youth sports drama "Hockey Forever" at 20:15.

Participants of the first intake of this new educational project, who successfully passed the competitive selection process, shared their stories of discovering the School and their fresh impressions from the classes.
The date was chosen for a reason: it was on 2 March 2018 that the decree establishing the "For Mentorship" award was signed.
