The Directorate of the International RUSSIA EXPO invites guests to get acquainted with the work of the legendary architect Alexey Shchusev.

You can learn a lot of interesting things about the outstanding Russian architect at the All-Russian Museum of Decorative Arts at the anniversary exposition "Designed by Architect Shchusev". It was specially prepared for the 150th anniversary of Alexey Shchusev.

The main creation of the famous architect is undoubtedly Lenin’s Mausoleum, but he also designed the Kazan railway station, the FSB (Federal Security Service) building on Lubyanka and the Intercession Church of the Marfo-Mariinsky monastery. It was his work that defined the look of the Russian capital.

In addition, it was Shchusev who was responsible for designing the pavilion for the All-Russian Agricultural and Handicrafts Exposition. It was the first exposition of such scale and content in the history of the USSR. It became a kind of prototype of the current RUSSIA EXPO.
