RUSSIA EXPO: take a tour around the country and the roads of Avtodor
Back in November, the territory of VDNH became a large-scale projection of the whole of Russia for six months. The main aspect of the exposition is the demonstration of achievements. Regions share their successes with visitors in a clear and accessible form, tell about the points of growth and attractions. Industry and economy are not falling behind, demonstrating the accumulated experience and the latest developments.
Much attention is paid to interactivity at the forum. An immersive technology laboratory was installed in the zone of the State Company Avtodor in Pavilion No. 15. It allows anyone to get behind the wheel of a car and drive along the existing and future high-speed highways of the country. A dynamic platform, virtual and mixed reality systems are used for this purpose.
Another interactive feature of the Avtodor zone is a camera with artificial intelligence that takes pictures against the backdrop of high-speed roads. The stand also has a museum component. The showcases present artifacts found during the construction of highways: dishes, jewelry and household items. For example, during the construction of the road M-12 Vostok archeologists found more than 370 thousand artifacts and 25 monuments of archeological heritage. Now part of this collection can be seen at the stand of Avtodor.
A real world of modern technologies and installations is located in Pavilion No. 75, where the exposition of the subjects of the Russian Federation is taking place. It is as if the participants are competing to see who has the most beautiful, brightest and most spectacular exposition. For example, the Pskov region has installed bicycles on its stand. In front of them is a screen with a colorful video. You put on headphones, pedal and get acquainted with the sights of the region to music or pleasant voice of the announcer. The Leningrad region has simulated a path along Lake Ladoga. You stand on the bridge, under which the digital river "murmurs", take steps on the built-in treadmill, and a forest walk begins on the screen. The Tver region has installed an almost life-size model of a train at the stand. Inside the cabin there are levers and buttons that turn you into a driver and allow you to start the train.
