12 million people visited the RUSSIA EXPO
The RUSSIA EXPO was visited by the 12 millionth guest. It
was Ksenia Yushkova from the Ivanovo region. She came to the Exposition
together with her husband Pavel and two children — six-year-old Pavel and
four-year-old Dmitry. The guest was congratulated at the stand of the Tula
region.
"We are extremely emotional about such a surprise — we
have never even thought of such a thing," said Ksenia Yushkova. "What
happened was an absolute surprise for us," added Pavel Yushkov.
Ksenia received a certificate for a family trip
"Discover Tula Region" to the region's landmarks from the RUSSIA EXPO
Directorate and the Government of the Tula region.
"We have an important event today — 12 million people
visited the Exposition. Many thanks to our reliable partners, the Tula region,
for providing the gift. The whole family of the 12 millionth guest will go on a
two-day trip around the region," said Natalia Virtuozova, Director General
of the RUSSIA EXPO.
The program of the trip includes a tour of the Tula Kremlin,
Kazanskaya Embankment and the Museum Quarter. In addition, Ksenia together with
her family will visit the Tula State Weapons Museum and the "Octava"
creative industrial cluster, get acquainted with the interactive program at the
Machine Tool Museum, and take part in a masterclass on making Tula gingerbread.
The trip will end with a walk around the Polenovo Museum-Reserve.
"If you want to get to know Russia, start from
Tula," this is the advice of Alexei Dyumin, Governor of the Tula region.
"Tula is traditionally associated with industries and
crafts. Now the guests of the region are offered not only unique expositions,
but also a rich event calendar. Visiting the cities of the Great Golden Ring,
eco-tourism and gastronomic travel is an opportunity to discover Tula in a new
way," said Larisa Sadova, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the
Tula region.
The 11 millionth guest on April 25 was Olga Lutova from
Orel, who came to the Exposition together with her husband Anatoly and two
daughters — eight-year-old Valeria and 15-year-old Sofia. They were presented
with a certificate for a four-day trip to Tomsk. Konstantin Panfilov, the ten
millionth visitor, was welcomed at the Exposition on April 6. He and his wife

The Exposition crossed the threshold of five million guests
on February 22. Alexei Maximov with his wife and two children came to VDNH. The
family from the city of Volzhsky, Volgograd region, received a trip along the
Energy of Ladoga route from the RUSSIA EXPO Directorate, the Leningrad region
