The weekends at the RUSSIA EXPO are always fun, interesting and crowded. We have gathered events that can be comfortably attended by the whole family. Masterclasses, virtual reality, interesting expositions and meetings are waiting for guests.

EXPERIMENTS FROM ROSREZERV'S NIIPH - CHEMICAL REACTIONS TO DETERMINE CARBOHYDRATES. CANDY MAKING 0+

Visitors will be able to see chemical reactions to determine carbohydrates and learn how to make lollipops thanks to the magic of chemistry. Employees of the Research Institute of Storage Problems of Rosrezerv are responsible for the spectacular experiments.

VR - MOVIE THEATER OF THE RUSSIAN GEOGRAPHICAL SOCIETY 0+

At the RGS stand you can "teleport" to the most beautiful places in Russia. Don't miss the opportunity to fly over the nests of guillemots on the Kola Peninsula, see how clouds form on Mount Ai-Petri in the Crimea, dive to visit a ringed seal in the Sea of Okhotsk, and hear gray whales sing.

Also, thanks to the VR-technologies, guests of the stand will find themselves on a tour conducted by Alexander Kolchak, and Pyotr Semenov-Tyan-Shansky will tell about his adventures in the Altai and Central Asia.

MASTERCLASS "YAROSLAVL BEAR" 6+

At the masterclass experienced teachers of the Yaroslavl Pedagogical College will teach the guests to make an original toy with movable parts decorated with the exposition symbols.

EXPOSITION "BETWEEN LIGHT AND DARKNESS" 12+

Exposition "Between Light and Darkness" is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the complete liberation of Leningrad from the Nazi blockade. The exposition will tell about the films that comprehend the deep trauma of the whole city, as well as present materials about the work of frontline cameramen. The guests will be able to get acquainted with the stories of actors, directors and movie workers who witnessed the blockade.

STAR LOUNGE. SATURDAY MEETING WITH A COSMONAUT 0+

Every Saturday, the RUSSIA EXPO guests can meet and talk to real cosmonauts, Heroes of the Russian Federation. Don't miss the opportunity to learn more about our universe and listen to fascinating stories about space flights and life in orbit.
