The Omsk region is preparing a bright show with a symphony orchestra for the RUSSIA EXPO
The region will present a modern technological stand and an unusual cultural and entertainment program at the International RUSSIA EXPO.
On the Day of the Region, which is scheduled for November 17, the Omsk organizers promise a large-scale program with a symphony concert, as well as sports activities.
The plans include performances of "Heirs of Siberia", Omsk Russian Folk Choir, a vibrant premiere of the author’s program "DJ Orchestra Show" from the Omsk Chamber Orchestra and DJ SVAT. The guests will be able to appreciate an unusual combination of electronic music, live orchestral sound and energy of the chamber orchestra.
The Omsk Symphony Orchestra and the Governor’s Symphony Orchestra of the Irkutsk Philharmonic are in charge of classical music. They are preparing a joint program for the guests.
In addition, a musical battle is expected. Folk instrument quartets of the Omsk and Irkutsk Philharmonics — the ensemble "Tara Gates" and the collective "Baikal-Quartet" — will compete in performing skills. Both folk and modern motifs will be played.
The stand will also feature a performance from the sports school and a show by the strongest man in the country, Mikhail Shivlyakov.
