The Year of Teacher and Mentor closing ceremony to be held at the International RUSSIA EXPO
The Year of Teacher and Mentor will officially come to an end this year at the International RUSSIA EXPO, where the country’s successes in education will be presented.
A large-scale educational program is planned during the exposition, presenting Russia’s key achievements in education, science and technology. Many significant educational projects have been launched during the Year of Teacher and Mentor.
"The Year of Teacher and Mentor will officially end this year, but the events that were launched will continue: this includes support for pedagogical dynasties, the "Thank You Teacher" campaign, and many other projects. We should always remember about our teachers, say words of gratitude to them, because the profession of a teacher is the most important on Earth", — said Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Sergey Kravtsov.
According to the Minister, many thematic events will be held at the RUSSIA EXPO. Among them are the awards ceremony for the winners of the educational journalism contest "PRO Education — 2023", the All-Russian forum dedicated to the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the creation of the squads of young traffic inspectors.
It will be possible to learn more about the key educational successes of the country at the immersive exposition of the Ministry of Education of Russia. Guests will also be able to visit the "Quantorium", "Point of Growth", "IT-Cube", "School Gym" and the zones of the federal children’s centers "Artek", "Orlyonok", "Smena", "Ocean" and "Scarlet Sails". Many educational master classes will be available, covering a variety of topics from programming to drawing.
The International RUSSIA EXPO will be held in Moscow at the VDNH from November 4, 2023 to April 12, 2024. Each region of the Russian Federation will present its stand, where it will introduce visitors to the key achievements in various industries. Federal authorities, representatives of large corporations, public associations and foreign countries will also take part in the exposition.
At the National Centre RUSSIA, as part of the Russian Space Forum, a presentation of the first International Space Games (ISG) for young engineers.
A session titled "Global Interdisciplinary Dialogue: How to Tell Stories about Space and Create Content in the Digital Age" was held at the National Centre RUSSIA as part of the first Russian Space Forum.
