Dmitry Peskov, Director General of ANO NTI Platform, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for Digital and Technological Development, took part in the opening session of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2025.  Speaking in the theme track "Human well-being", he noted that with the increasing number of modern challenges, the main solution for the survival of mankind is to create many fundamentally different systems.

"You know, serious forecasters say that there are no rational grounds for human survival. And when I think about the economic growth platform and what multi-agent systems can do today, it seems to me that this is a piece of the solution that we all need to meet these challenges. And the answer, I think, is quite simple: it consists in the fact that God's plan is beautiful, and we need to learn how to create beautiful systems that can honestly look to the future, prepare people for real, that is, do not lie to ourselves, stimulate diversity, because diversity is the key to survival. Therefore, we need to create many fundamentally different systems," Dmitry Peskov said.

The expert also noted the importance of developing human intelligence, along with artificial intelligence.

"In order to develop strategic resilience to challenges, it is important for us to learn how to treat the power of artificial intelligence with some caution. This will help us to preserve humanity, to see and appreciate beauty, as well as to believe in it. This is exactly what the Open Dialogue is needed for. And I think it's very fortunate that we are starting this year's St. Petersburg Forum with it," Dmitry Peskov concluded.

The session "Shaping a new platform for global Growth" opened the official business block of the forum and became a platform for the presentation of the final report on the results of the Open Dialogue held in the National Centre RUSSIA — an international discussion initiated by Russia in the spring of 2025. The report was prepared by the Centre for Interdisciplinary Expertise "Third Rome", a partner of National Centre RUSSIA.
