Before the beginning of the working week, we offer our guests to get charged with vigor at the Olympic workout, to participate in the creation of a moonwalker and a Martian driller and, of course, to see off Maslenitsa in a fun and delicious way.

WORKOUT WITH THE OLYMPIC CHAMPION 0+

The 2016 Olympic champion, multiple world and European champion, pentathlete Alexander Lesun will hold a workout and share his personal recommendations for improving physical fitness and motivation. A charge of vigor and motivation is guaranteed for all participants.

Pavilion C "Sport for Everyone", March 17, 12:00 - 12:30 p.m.

WORKSHOP "SPACECRAFT WITH YOUR OWN HANDS" 6+

Engineering workshop for adults and children from 4 years old. Participants will construct a satellite, a moon rover and a Martian driller. They will get acquainted with sensors and motors, as well as explore mechanics and physics. They will even be able to bring the model to life using simple code.

SCREENING OF THE MOVIE "THE WEATHER IS GOOD ON DERIBASOVSKAYA OR IT'S RAINING AGAIN ON BRIGHTON BEACH" 16+

Leonid Gaidai's retrospective is taking place at the Museum of Cinema. The guests of the RUSSIA EXPO can watch the films of the legendary director on the big screen absolutely free of charge, as well as visit the exposition: not only try on the guises of his main characters, but also immerse themselves in their "habitat". A lot of photo zones and an abundance of interactive objects in the exposition will allow you to feel yourself in the center of the filming process and create a thematic photo session for social networks or family archives.

WORKSHOP "SPACE HUT" 12+

The team of the Nikola-Lenivets art project offers young guests to create an unusual art object out of cardboard sticks and then customize and decorate it. The workshop will be conducted by Ilya Sibiryakov, architect, artist, author of technologies for collective creation of art objects from available materials, development of imagination, spatial and constructive thinking in children and adults.

DIGITAL MASLENITSA: NADEZHDA BABKINA WITH THE ENSEMBLE "RUSSIAN SONG", BALAGAN LIMITED, VARVARA 16+

On Sunday, March 17, on the Main Street Stage of the RUSSIA EXPO, guests will be treated to a grand musical and theatrical show dedicated to seeing off Maslenitsa. The headliner of the event will be Nadezhda Babkina, a legend of Russian folk pop music, with the ensemble "Russian Song". Also, popular Russian singer Varvara and the "Balagan Limited" band will perform for the guests this evening.

The holiday will end with a unique digital "burning" of the Maslenitsa effigy. The thematic souvenir of the event, which all guests will receive, will be kokoshniks - a traditional element of Russian national costume. The guests will also enjoy thematic photo zones and pancake stations with fresh baked goods.
