Green energy and new opportunities - Stavropol region at the RUSSIA EXPO
The
Stavropol region is a land for living. And a great place for recreation. Three
lucky visitors to the stand of the Stavropol region managed to win vouchers to
Essentuki on the Day of the Region at VDNH.
"Thanks
to Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, the word
"opportunities" has become the word of the decade for Stavropol and
the whole country. During this time, the Stavropol region has emerged as a
leader in the green energy segment, entire new sectors have appeared in
industry and agriculture. Stavropol towns and villages are being developed and
improved - not only resorts, but absolutely all territories. The slogan of the
region's stand at the Exposition is Stavropol Region - a Land for Life", - said Vladimir Vladimirov, Governor of the Stavropol region.
The
Stavropol region has staked on the development of "green energy". By
2024 it is planned to open the seventh wind farm in the region. Thanks to the
creation of territories of advanced socio-economic development (TASED), a large
trade and logistics hub has been formed in the region.
The
visitors were also told about the Mashuk Knowledge Center, created on the
initiative of the head of state Vladimir Putin. The center trains professionals
to work in the field of education, youth policy and educational work.
Theatrical performance on writing a huge painting, a fashion show of Stavropol students-designers' clothing with a display of arts and crafts, a performance-concert of the Cossack ensemble Nekrasovsky Cossacks, the state ensemble Stavropolye, children's dance ensemble Rainbow, youth groups StavLittleBand, Personalities, PosleZavtra were organized for the guests. Children were delighted by the performance of Cossack Ded Moroz and Snegurochka.
The International RUSSIA EXPO is the most important achievements of the country gathered in one place. The expositions of 89 Russian regions, leading federal departments, corporations and public organizations are presented to the visitors. The International RUSSIA EXPO is held at VDNH in Moscow from November 4, 2023 to April 12, 2024.
