Goldwork embroidery and "udzh" dance: the Republic of Adygea at the RUSSIA EXPO
National
dances, games, sports achievements, construction of roads and social
facilities. The Republic of Adygea presented its major achievements on the Day
of the Region.
Visitors to
the Exposition were able to attend workshops on goldwork embroidery and braid
weaving, making national mats and playing Adygean musical instruments
(pkh'ekIych, shichepshin, drum).
The guests
were also taught the movements of the ancient Adygean festive couple's dance
"udzh" - this is the only Adygean dance of the past, where a young
man and a young woman could touch each other and express their feelings with a
discreet handshake.
Representatives
of the region noted that only this year 23 billion rubles were allocated for
the implementation of federal and regional state programs and national projects
in Adygea. According to the results of 2023, all key economic indicators show
positive dynamics.
"The
Republic is developing every year: we build and reconstruct dozens of social
facilities and highways, improve public and courtyard areas, build housing,
implement major projects in the economy, education and agriculture. We are
systematically fulfilling the strategic instructions of the President of Russia
Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, we are working on systematic improvement of the
quality of life of the population of Adygea. Much work is also being done in
the region thanks to the implementation of national projects, federal support
mechanisms", - said the Head of the Republic of Adygea Murat Kumpilov.
Mobile national Adygean games were held near the Main Street Stage of VDNH, and in the "House of Russian Cuisine" the guests were treated with national dish khalyuzhi, honey, tea and Adygean cheese.
Visitors to the exposition were introduced to the Maikop school of judo and sambo, there were also demonstrations and master classes with outstanding athletes with the participation of young athletes and ambassadors of the exposition.
Hosted festive events dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Association of Indigenous Small-Numbered Peoples of the North, Siberia, and the Far East of the Russian Federation, and the 95th anniversary of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area – Yugra.
The international campaign "Victory Dictation" took place in Moscow on April 25 across 497 venues.
Essayist participating in the Open Dialogue "The Future of the World. New Platform for Global Growth" took a guided tour of the interactive exposition "Journey Across Russia".
