On June 26, the International RUSSIA EXPO was visited by foreign journalists from seven Arab countries: Algeria, Yemen, Sudan, Morocco, Iraq, Lebanon and Palestine. The event took place as part of an internship organized by the RT Arabic channel in cooperation with Rossotrudnichestvo.

The foreign delegation visited the "Achievements of Russia" Gallery, where key successes of Russia in recent years are presented through animated images. The foreign journalists also explored the expositions in Pavilion No. 75, which showcases the displays of all Russian regions.

Anastasia Zvyagina, Deputy Director General of the RUSSIA EXPO, told the foreign guests about the creation of the Exposition.

"For us, it is important that the RT Arabic delegation saw Russia in one venue and learned about our vast and multifaceted country. The visitors expressed their wish for such an Exposition to be presented abroad. They emphasize that we are a friendly and very hospitable country and invited our Exposition to be held abroad so that all countries could get to know our beloved Russia," said Anastasia Zvyagina.

The journalists came to Moscow under the "New Generation" program. They are interning at RT Arabic, during which they will get acquainted with the entire channel's operations and attend masterclasses by staff members of the Arabic-language channel. The practical sessions will focus on on-camera work, editorial skills, editing and the use of artificial intelligence in journalism.

"This is not my first visit to Moscow, but it is my first time attending this Exposition. It is very beautiful and successfully combines elements of the past with modern culture. Moscow is a magnificent city, and the Russian people are kind, friendly, and peaceful," emphasized Mohammed Vidatallah from Sudan.

RT Arabic, together with Rossotrudnichestvo, has been organizing trips for foreign journalists to Russia for the fourth time. Last year, RT Arabic hosted colleagues from Egypt and Syria, and in 2022, Syrian specialists visited.

"We have visited several regions of Russia and seen the development that has occurred in the country in a short period. Russia is progressing, and Moscow is evolving. We have seen that Russia is nothing like the image portrayed by the West and Western media. Russia is a hospitable country where you can feel safe at any time of the day," noted Marouane Mebarek from Algeria.
