The Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) is an organization created to support promising ideas and projects and unite the efforts of society, business and the state.

The autonomous non-profit organization Agency for Strategic Initiatives to Promote New Projects (www.asi.ru) was established by a decree of the Russian Government on August 11, 2011. The Supervisory Board of the ASI is headed by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Throughout all the years of its operation, the Agency's ideology has remained unchanged - to promote the best projects and initiatives that have already proven to be successful and can be scaled up across the country, as well as to support leaders.
One of ASI's key programs is the National Social Initiative aimed at improving the quality of social services. As part of the initiative, an institute of regional service representatives has been launched, a regional social standard has been developed and is being implemented, and a model of a friendly organization in the social sphere has been formed.
The Agency annually compiles a rating of the quality of life in Russian regions, which helps identify problem areas, gaps in the quality of life between regions, find best practices and ensure their implementation.
The National Technology Initiative is aimed at ensuring Russia's technological sovereignty and includes the development of end-to-end technologies, support for small technology companies, acceleration of teams, and personnel training.
The National Personnel Initiative is aimed at creating opportunities for youth entrepreneurship and employment, supporting people in finding a job and developing their career.
The "Cool Country" educational travel program, which ASI implements together with the Ministry of Education, is aimed at early career guidance and raising patriotism.
The National Environmental Initiative is aimed at increasing the openness of environmental data for residents, developing environmental culture, introducing technologies for the efficient management of industrial, household and organic waste, and comprehensive adaptation to the effects of climate change in the regions.
To support leaders and their projects, the Agency has developed a number of convenient services. To accelerate the launch of promising Russian companies on the foreign market, the Go Global service is also available.
