It is in the Astrakhan Region where the largest lotus fields can be found. The Caspian rose – as this flower is called – is rightfully considered a symbol of the region. For this reason, it became the basis of the exposition’s visual design and everything that was created and achieved by Astrakhan residents. Each of the Lotus petals will open our region to you in a new way.

The key element of the Astrakhan Region exposition is the "Lotus" central transforming multimedia object – five opening petals-screens for broadcasting the main content on five topics:
- uniqueness of the region, history, tourism opportunities.
- improving the quality of life, culture and art.
- history and development of industry, implementation of economic potential.
- sports traditions, development of children's and youth sports, popularization of a healthy lifestyle.
- interregional and international relations, striving for tomorrow.
In addition, the exhibition space of the Astrakhan Region will be built from the following main components, visually creating one whole image:
- a large screen – designed to broadcast thematic materials about the history, outstanding events and people associated with the Astrakhan Region.
- decorative and functional elements of the stand design, including interactive floor, dynamic ceiling;
- several interactive zones for children and adults.
- uniqueness of the region, history, tourism opportunities.
- improving the quality of life, culture and art.
- history and development of industry, implementation of economic potential.
- sports traditions, development of children's and youth sports, popularization of a healthy lifestyle.
