The mission of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and Arctic is to increase the population of the Far East and the Arctic through accelerated economic development and improved quality of life.
As a federal executive body, the Ministry provides systemic government support for projects aimed at improving the quality of life of people and accelerating the socio-economic development of the Far East and the Arctic.
In accordance with the decrees of the President of the Russian Federation, the Far East has the best conditions for investors in the country, state support mechanisms for projects are in place here, and the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) is operating. The Russian Government is implementing socially significant programs aimed at attracting professional personnel to the regions of the Far East and the Far North, providing free land plots (the "Hectare" program), making housing more affordable ("Far Eastern Mortgage", "Far Eastern Quarter", etc.), and building social infrastructure (Presidential Unified Subsidy, "Far Eastern Concession").
