A birch grove is an integral part of the Russian landscape, which has been playing a role of a source of inspiration for poets, artists and musicians over the centuries. Experts spoke about this at the session titled "The Birch Grove: The Poetics of the Russian Landscape" hosted by the National Centre RUSSIA. The event was held as part of the "Peoples of Russia and the CIS Countries" festival under the auspices of the Security Council of the Russian Federation.
