At the gala concert "Forward, Russia!", dedicated to the XI International Festival "Sofia" and the Forum of Rural Workers, performances were given by the N. P. Budashkin Orchestra of Russian Folk Instruments (MGIK), winners of the "Sofia" festival, and soloists from Vladimir Matorin's youth programme. The programme featured beloved Soviet songs.
