Practical session in the "Geography Classroom" lecture hall helped participants see for themselves that any long trip into the countryside should begin not with buying tickets, but with learning essential outdoor skills to be ready for any surprises. Workshop guests had the opportunity to work with real hiking equipment, from a compass to a professional expedition backpack.
