Backgammon set decorated with Kovrov mosaic

This is the National art craft article of the recognized artistic merit. The backgammon set was made of Karelian birch and Baltic amber in the Kovrov mosaic technique by LLC Emelyanov diversified production company. The high artistic quality and the originality of the article are assured by the factory’s own design studio headed by Igor Isaev, the Kaliningrad artist. Artistic amber-carving is a historically developed craft in the Kaliningrad region, that occurred after 1945 and was considered the youngest craft in Russia.
