Russian wooden toys

Wooden toys and household items in the traditions of the Vologda region. One of the ancient types of toys is wooden conics of a special shape. They have a short neck, small head and massive body. Another character is the doll Panka, a figurine of a woman carved from a single piece of wood. Another traditional items are wooden birds decorated with carvings.
