Alexander Novak, Andrei Chibis and Mikhail Kotyukov answered students' questions at the RUSSIA EXPO
Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Alexander Novak, Governor of
the Murmansk region Andrei Chibis and Governor of the Krasnoyarsk region
Mikhail Kotyukov talked to students in the "Dialogue on Equal Terms"
format. One of the subjects of discussion was the hydrogen energy.
"This
is a promising topic. We are very actively engaged in this area. There
is a project on hydrogen energy approved by the Chairman of the Government. And
Russia has ambitious goals - we plan to occupy at least 20% of the world energy
market in the future," said Alexander Novak.
Andrei
Chibis and Mikhail Kotyukov also informed the students about the attractiveness
of their regions in building a career.
"We
have a project called "Course to the North". Its goal is to
attract specialists to our region. We are looking for specialists, we pay extra
to those who work for us if they help convince their friends and acquaintances
to come to us. Last year, for the first time since 1991, more people came to
our region than left. Our conditions are good. Yesterday I met with employees
of FSUE Atomflot, and the average salary there is 212 thousand rubles. The
average salary in the regional economy is close to 100 thousand rubles,"
said Andrei Chibis.
Mikhail
Kotyukov in his speech noted that the Krasnoyarsk region has a lot to offer to
workers in the energy industry.
"The
Krasnoyarsk region is a unique region in terms of energy. We have
hydropower, thermal power, the richest coal deposits, centers of competence in
nuclear technologies. One of our closed municipalities was fully supplied with
heat and electricity through an experimental nuclear reactor - we have such
experience as well. Now we are working on the creation of a virtually new
industry where nuclear fuel will operate in a closed cycle mode," Mikhail
Kotyukov reported.
The final session of the Open Dialogue "Future of the World. New Platform for Global Growth" took place at the National Centre RUSSIA on the closing day, April 30.
