Amur cultural institutions presented the region at the National Centre RUSSIA
As part of the thematic Amur Region Week at the National Centre RUSSIA in Moscow, the talents from the Amur Regional Philharmonic and the School of Creative Industries presented a multifaceted programme dedicated to the cultural wealth of the region. The Amur Regional Local Lore Museum also took an active part in the event.
The event pleased the guests not only with interactive expositions and workshops, but also with incendiary concert programmes. The traditional folk game "Amur Biryulki" was popular with visitors, allowing them to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the Far Eastern flavour.
The programme's high point was the concert "Amur is About Love", which took place on 27 September. The Philharmonic artists not only showed the best concert performances, but also introduced residents and guests of the capital to interesting facts about the Amur region. The concert featured soloists Sergei Terekhov, Marina Gorbacheva, Veronika Koshelnikova, the show ballet "Maximum", and the variety studio "Feyerya".
A special place in the programme was occupied by the concert "From Baikal to Amur", which was presented by the School of Creative Industries. This modern project, which ran with a taste of nostalgia, used songs and dances to tell a story of the Komsomol members who were among the first to conquer the taiga, and built the railway with love and for the ages.
The striking final chord of the Amur Region Week at the National Centre RUSSIA in Moscow was the art performance "Recite. The Voice of Victory", held on 28 September. The event was dedicated to the heroic feats of the Soviet people during the Great Patriotic War, and went as part of the All-Russian campaign "Recite". Artists and volunteers performed for the guests. They recited, sang and played works by wartime poets, read out authentic letters written by the Amur soldiers in the front-line, and honored the memory of the heroes who defended peace and freedom. A specially created sound installation became a key element of the performance. Thanks to it, the audience immersed themselves in the atmosphere of the war years and touched upon the personal stories and fates of the heroes.
Performances by artists of the Amur Philharmonic and creative projects by the School of Creative Industries have become a vivid proof of the fact that the region has not only industrial potential, but also a rich cultural heritage capable of winning the hearts of the audience in the capital. From modern concert programmes to folk games, the entire Amur Region Week in Moscow was held in an atmosphere of hospitality and creativity.
The volunteers will help organize the programme and will be able to feel the atmosphere of international dialogue about the future of society.
The event is dedicated to Tiger Day and popularizes the symbol of the region through the international postcards exchange.
