Anna Kuznetsova: people preservation policy and traditional values are the foundation of Russia’s sovereignty
The preservation and protection of traditional values and
the people are a key indicator of Russia’s sovereignty and the foundation of
its future. This was stated by Deputy Chair of the State Duma Anna Kuznetsova
during her address at the conference "Back to the Future". The event
was held at the National Centre RUSSIA on 28 January as part of the 34th
International Educational Christmas Readings.
"The President has set the task of people preservation
as a national goal. Today, only a sovereign state that has the right to do so
can set such a goal for itself. Russia has defended this right. Our policy to
protect the family and traditional values, enshrined in Decree No. 809, is a
response to external expansion and a guarantee of a stable future for our
children. Our demographic policy is focused on three key areas: increasing
family well-being with each child, creating a comfortable infrastructure for
large families and, most importantly, affirming the value of life and family
through real examples rather than just words. Values and conditions must go
hand in hand. In the State Duma and in United Russia, we are creating a
value-based platform to implement the Presidential Decree. I invite the
proactive people gathered here to submit their projects — the best of them will
be included in this federal programme. We do not need merely beautiful and
correct words; we need real actions that will strengthen the family and
Russia’s sovereignty," Anna Kuznetsova emphasised.
The conference was dedicated to exploring ways to implement
Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 309 "On the National
Development Goals of the Russian Federation" by drawing on Russia’s
thousand-year historical and spiritual experience. The title "Back to the
Future" symbolised a fundamental approach: only by relying on
civilisational foundations, traditional values and the unique experience of
state-building inherited from our ancestors can the country’s future be
confidently shaped in line with modern national goals.
As part of the visit, a working meeting was held with Director General of the National Centre RUSSIA Natalia Virtuozova.
The Literary Club "What to Read?!" is an original project of the National Centre RUSSIA.
The large-scale event will take place on 8 July, the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity, at the National Centre RUSSIA in Moscow.
