Architect Andrei Chernikhov was featured in the new episode of the "Russia Speaks" podcast
The National Centre RUSSIA has released the second episode of the "Russia Speaks" podcast. The guest of the episode was renowned architect and chief curator of "The Birth of Scale" exposition, Andrei Chernikhov.
In a conversation with host Anzhelika Kiryan, he discussed the main challenges and prospects of modern architecture, shared his vision of buildings of the future, and spoke about the new exposition set to open at the National Centre RUSSIA on March 1.
"We are born to create, not to destroy nature or appropriate its achievements and technologies. Our mission is different. We are shaping the future, and every moment we live is already a part of it," Andrei Chernikhov believes.

The history of Russian architecture, bold concepts, and Soviet urban planning projects realised across the globe were presented to delegations of the exposition on May 31.
These mills were technological structures, each one a complex mechanism despite its apparent simplicity.
