"Architecture — the world we live in": a family tour with quiz elements at the National Centre RUSSIA
The
National Centre RUSSIA is offering a new family tour with quiz elements —
"Architecture is the world we live in," based on the exposition
"The Birth of Scale." The event is designed for children aged 7 and
above, as well as their parents.
During the
tour, participants are immersed in the world of Russian architectural
tradition. Instead of a standard lecture, the organisers have prepared
interactive tasks to help children understand and experience the power and
beauty of Russian architecture.
Guests will
learn about the traditions of wooden architecture in Russia, uncover the
secrets behind the construction of defensive structures, and try their hand at
being ancient craftsmen. Participants of different ages will practise measuring
in traditional Russian spans and gain a new perspective on architectural
proportions.
The event
is suitable for organised groups and school classes. Registration is open to
all who wish to explore the architectural legacy of our country in an engaging
and unusual format. Full details are available on the website of the National
Centre RUSSIA in the "Events" section.
