The Agency for Strategic Initiatives and the National Centre RUSSIA agree to jointly promote regional projects and brands
The cooperation agreement was signed at the St Petersburg International Economic Forum by the Director General of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI), Svetlana Chupsheva, and the Director General of the National Centre RUSSIA, Natalia Virtuozova. The parties agreed to jointly promote Russian brands, support socially significant projects, hold business and educational events, and develop new formats of interaction with Russian regions.
"The National Centre RUSSIA is a place where regions showcase their achievements and people across the country discover how rich and diverse our Motherland is. Together with the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, we will continue to develop and support the most talented regional projects and brands. Following several seasons of the 'Know Our Own' contest, more than 20 manufacturers are already represented in our Department Store. We will develop cooperation, including in the cultural and educational sphere," said Natalia Virtuozova.
The partners will pay special attention to projects and brands supported by ASI, including participants in the "Know Our Own" contest for growing Russian brands, which the Agency holds with the Roscongress Foundation with the support of VEB.RF.
"The agenda of the National Centre RUSSIA is largely in line with ASI’s objectives to support strong projects, initiatives and regional teams. The space already features brands that are winners and finalists of the 'Know Our Own' contest from different regions of the country, and the new agreement will allow us to expand this cooperation and create additional opportunities for Russian brands and authors of promising ideas," noted Svetlana Chupsheva.
After signing the agreement, Natalia Virtuozova and Svetlana Chupsheva visited the stand of the "Know Our Own" contest. Products from 20 brands are presented at the Department Store of the National Centre RUSSIA — from food and cosmetics to interior items and designer accessories. Behind each of these brands are people who draw inspiration from the traditions of their regions and create modern Russian products.
As part of the cooperation, the parties plan to jointly organise business, educational and enlightenment events, develop information support for projects and initiatives, and help promote domestic manufacturers and the exchange of successful regional practices.
According to the signed document, projects and brands supported by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives may be presented in the space of the National Centre RUSSIA in exposition, presentation and other formats. In turn, projects of the National Centre RUSSIA will be able to become part of ASI events.
