Askar Abdrazakov: the image of a woman inspires creative work and great deeds
A woman has always inspired men to achieve great things. Honoured Artist of Russia, Mariinsky Theatre soloist and Artistic Director of the Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theatre Askar Abdrazakov congratulated women on International Women’s Day.
"I congratulate our wonderful ladies on the holiday of 8 March. The image of a woman — a young woman, a mother — is deeply important and touching. It is the soul and the inspiration that encourages men to create, to accomplish great deeds and, of course, to admire and celebrate the beauty of women. Thank you very much," said Askar Abdrazakov.
The Honoured Artist of Russia performed the role of Boris Godunov in the original multi-genre production "Russian Seasons. Spring". The production is dedicated to International Women’s Day and celebrates Russian art, music and dance, as well as the women who inspired and shaped an era: Anna Pavlova, Bronislava Nijinska and Matilda Kshesinskaya. Their talent and charisma turned Russian ballet into a global phenomenon and helped spread the fame of Russian art far beyond the country’s borders.
The legendary "Russian Seasons" played an important role in shaping the image of Russia in Europe, and became a unique phenomenon of world culture.
