"I thank the creators of this miracle": Konstantin Kosachev praised the ballet "The Nutcracker" at the National Centre
The festive
premiere of the ballet "The Nutcracker" with multimedia sets took
place at the National Centre RUSSIA on December 29. Guests were captivated by
the vibrant combination of classical ballet and modern animation with special
effects. The new production and the efforts of the National Centre were highly
praised by the Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council, Konstantin Kosachev.
The production
at the National Centre RUSSIA retains everything best about "The
Nutcracker": Tchaikovsky's magnificent music and the classical traditions
of Russian ballet, while introducing a radically new approach to stage design.
Static sets have been replaced with multimedia elements, allowing the story to
come to life, making the narrative more dynamic, and the performance truly
captivating.
"I am
very pleased that there is now another interpretation of 'The Nutcracker,'
another take on the classics in a more modern execution. This production will
remain in the hearts and souls of the audience for a long time; it fulfills the
most genuine expectations of a New Year miracle," noted Konstantin
Kosachev.
The Deputy
Chairman of the Federation Council also thanked the National Centre RUSSIA for
supporting this unique project, which provides more people with the opportunity
to see the legendary ballet. After all, during the New Year season, attending
"The Nutcracker" often becomes a challenge.
"It is
important to find new stages and other opportunities to bring joy to the
audience, to bring joy to people. To those who came here to once again
experience the incredible New Year’s fairy tale and realize that there is
indeed a place for miracles in life — you just have to believe. I would like to
sincerely thank the creators of this miracle, and I extend my heartfelt
gratitude to the National Centre RUSSIA," concluded Konstantin Kosachev.
The
National Centre RUSSIA was established by order of the President of the Russian
