Welfare has increased many times over: the development of Crimea discussed at the RUSSIA EXPO
Youth
policy, development of the creative industry and tourism in the Republic of
Crimea were discussed at the RUSSIA EXPO.
Director
general of ANO "Center for the Development of Cultural Initiatives",
project manager of the art cluster "Tavrida" Sergei Pershin at the
RUSSIA EXPO spoke about the main directions of development of the art cluster.
He noted that the project, as well as the "Crimean Spring", this year
turns 10 years old.
"We
are peers of the "Crimean Spring": this year our project turns 10
years old, and it is really dynamically developing along with the whole
peninsula. If 10 years ago it was a small rented site, today it is a whole city
for young professionals of creative industries, which we are building on behalf
of the President of our country together with the government of the region near
the city of Sudak. Road engineering infrastructure is being developed, new
projects, new opportunities are emerging not only for young creators: we are
sure that if you are young or were young, you must visit Crimea, Tavrida,"
said Sergei Pershin.
Since 2014,
Sevastopol has a huge number of opportunities for new generations, said Marina
Slonchenko, deputy head of the Sevastopol Department of Youth and Sports.
"Infrastructural
facilities, art spaces appear in the city. A resource center to support
volunteerism has opened, which has become a point of attraction for all the
young lads, for all the volunteers of Sevastopol. There is a powerful system of
grant support in place. These are both grants at the level of the Sevastopol
government, and training of young people for participation in grants of the
Federal Agency for Youth Affairs. Of course, there are various competitions
aimed at identifying creative kids and career preferences of young
people," said Marina Slonchenko.
According
to her, volunteerism is actively developing in the city: today the number of
volunteers is 47 thousand people.
Minister of
Resorts and Tourism of Crimea Vadim Volchenko noted that the influence of
Russia in Crimea has always been felt.
"We live in Russia, we feel ourselves Russians. This is a Russian land from the beginning, it is Russian and will always be Russian. Therefore, the influence of Russia has always existed there. No one has ever felt differently there. If we talk about the level of welfare, the level of wages, pension services, of course, all of this has increased many times over. If we talk about the level of amenities, about the issues of housing and utilities that have not been solved for decades, there is a very simple example of the urban-type settlement of Koktebel. Modern sewage treatment facilities and a network of collectors are being built there now at the same time, the embankment is being reconstructed, gas is being supplied, and roads are being repaired. You must agree that five infrastructure projects in a small village will make it very comfortable. This was impossible to imagine in Crimea before," emphasized Vadim Volchenko.
Samvel Sarukhanyan, CEO of Mriya Resort & SPA spoke about the projects being implemented in Crimea aimed at the development of the hospitality industry.
"We are in a family. A family that is Russia! When one of the family members feels bad, everyone thinks how to help them. This is what is happening in our case. We are in very close contact with government agencies, we come out with initiatives, which are regularly supported. We help unite initiatives into projects such as "Masters of Hospitality", which are proud to be under the banner "Russia - a Land of Opportunities". Projects such as the "Nationwide Union of the Hospitality Industry" are emerging. Mriya is a premium resort. For a premium resort, you have to fly through a premium airport - it has come into being, you have to drive on a premium road - it has come into being. The whole infrastructure is being created step by step," Samvel Sarukhanyan emphasized.
