Wealth of traditions, dreams, and inventions: "Make a Wish" tour at the National Centre RUSSIA
At the
National Centre RUSSIA, exciting tours are held that help guests learn more
about culture, traditions, and the future, as well as immerse themselves in the
festive spirit before the New Year. For example, the "Make a Wish"
tour invites you to dive into the New Year's atmosphere, get acquainted with
the wealth of traditions from various regions of Russia, and also learn about
the country's cultural legacy, the dreams of visionaries, and inventions.
This tour
begins near the main entrance, where eight bright New Year trees are installed.
Each tree is decorated with symbols and traditions from one of the eight
federal districts of our country. Here you can see Russian nesting dolls, lace
patterns and gingerbread from the North, Ural gemstones, golden embroideries of
the Caucasus, juicy fruits of the South, as well as images of animals and
nature from Siberia and the Far East. The guide tells about how crafts are
passed down from generation to generation, as well as about the unique cultural
legacy of multinational Russia.
The tour
then continues in the exposition halls of the National Centre. Guests visit the
Library of the Future — here they learn how visionaries imagined tomorrow.
Then, guests proceed to the Hall of Inventions, where they discover how dreams
have become reality. The tour concludes at the "Legacy for the
Future" exposition, where works by young artists from different countries
are presented.
