More than a hundred children from large families celebrated a joint birthday party
The RUSSIA EXPO hosted the "Big Children's Birthday.
Winter Birthdays at VDNH". This holiday became a truly happy day for 101
children. The main participants on this day were the little guests of the
exposition and children from large families who celebrated their birthdays
during these winter days. The event was organized by the Ministry of Labor of
Russia.
First
Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection Olga Batalina expressed warm
congratulations to the young birthday children, emphasizing the importance of children's
holidays.
"You
have a very special, magical day today because it is held in a special place -
at the RUSSIA EXPO. This is an exposition of the achievements of
everything that has been made by the hands, labor, talent of many generations
of citizens of our country. And it is about you, because all our achievements
are for the sake of your happy life. Dear families! I wish you light,
happiness, warmth, family comfort, good health, and in this wonderful Year of
the Family, announced by the President, I wish that everything works out in
your life," said Olga Batalina.
A specialmusical gift was made by Russian singer Irina Dubtsova - she performed the
anthem of the Year of the Family. The festival also featured
performances by the Moscow Choir of Families with Many Children, creative
groups, and a children's show "The Mystery of the Ice Crystal". Young
actors - winners of all-Russian vocal contests - performed in front of the
audience and presented an exciting story that helped children to get acquainted
with the world of theater. Each little birthday kid was given a smart speaker.
During the
day, creative and educational masterclasses were arranged for the children. The
event also featured gifts and a festive photo session as a souvenir.
The event
was organized with the support of the Association of Large Families of Moscow,
the Association of Children's Art Workers, STREAM TV company, VSK Insurance
House, a partner of the Smart Finance Pavilion of the Bank of Russia, and
Alexey Khizhnyak, a super finalist of the fifth season of the Leaders of Russia
competition.
President of the UNESCO General Conference, Khondker Mohammad Talha, visited the National Centre RUSSIA and toured the “Journey Across Russia” exposition.
How the classics understood love and why it is worth returning to them today will be discussed by participants in the open dialogues "Forms of Love: Literature and Art" at the National Centre RUSSIA.
