More than a thousand delegates from all over the country gathered for the United Russia party congress at VDNH
Renewing the leadership team, discussing plans for the future, amending the party charter — United Russia plans to discuss all these issues at the first party congress in two years, which is being held today at the RUSSIA EXPO.
In addition, the results of panel discussions held on the eve of the congress will be summed up: the "Proud of Russia" platform was held on November 28 in the Rostov region; "I Believe in Russia" took place in Nizhny Novgorod on December 5; and "The Future of Russia" was held in Moscow on December 13.
The main topic of the congress will be the upcoming presidential elections in the Russian Federation and support for the current head of state for this post.
It should be reminded that the presidential elections of the Russian Federation will be held from March 15 to 17, 2024. On Saturday, December 16, a meeting of a group of voters was held in Zaryadye Park, more than 750 people instead of the required 500 took part in it. They unanimously supported Putin’s self-nomination. The initiative group includes famous politicians, heroes of the Special Military Operation, journalists, sports, cultural, artistic, and scientific figures.

On 6 January, a showing of the multi-genre performance "Morozko" took place at the National Centre RUSSIA. It was held for guests and veterans of the special military operation who participate.
The touching event took place as part of the nationwide "New Year Tree of Wishes" campaign.
