Future in miniature: the model of the National Centre RUSSIA building is now in the Western Foyer
One of the iconic displays — a model of the future building
— has taken its place in the Western Foyer of the National Centre RUSSIA. The
President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, personally launched its construction, with the opening of the new space scheduled for 2029. Visitors
can not only see what the National Centre RUSSIA will look like upon completion
but also "stroll" with their eyes across its grounds. The finest
details have been meticulously crafted: picturesque park paths, a shimmering
pond, a spacious car park for tour buses, and dozens of miniature figures of
people walking, chatting, and some even taking selfies against the backdrop of
the future architectural masterpiece.
By the time it arrived in the Western Foyer, the model had
already been displayed in various exposition spaces of the National Centre
RUSSIA and was also presented at the INNOPROM International Industrial Trade
Fair in Tashkent. In every location, it invariably drew attention both for its
craftsmanship and the sheer scale of the construction itself.
A digital panel is installed next to the model. It
broadcasts a video featuring a 3D model of the building, along with detailed
information about the project: architectural solutions, construction features,
and the key ideas and messages forming the foundation of the new space.
The National Centre RUSSIA building will become more than
just a large-scale exposition and public space; it will be a true architectural
symbol of the country: comfortable, modern, creative, high-tech, and welcoming
to all, just like Russia itself. In the meantime, guests have a unique
opportunity to use the model today to imagine what the National Centre RUSSIA
will become and take a selfie for memory, just like those miniature figures.
The National Centre RUSSIA officially launched the All-Russian campaign "Memory Wall".
