What will make the III All-Russian Wedding Festival stand out in Siberia, the Far East and the North of Russia
On the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity, the III All-Russian Wedding Festival "Russia. Uniting Hearts" will take place in Russia. It will commence at the National Centre RUSSIA in Moscow and, for the first time, at its branches in the Krasnoyarsk and Primorye Territories, as well as in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area – Yugra. Newlyweds, their guests and all festival participants in the regions can look forward to a vibrant programme featuring simultaneous marriage registration ceremonies, traditional and contemporary wedding rituals, performances by artists and congratulations from public officials — everything needed to make this day truly unforgettable.
The central theme of the III All-Russian Wedding Festival "Russia. Uniting Hearts" during the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia is "United in Love" — the unity of cultures, traditions and values. This year, the festival will be held across several regions of the country.
The festival at the National Centre RUSSIA branch in Vladivostok will take place on 7–8 July. One of its highlights will be a blacksmith wedding ceremony — an ancient Russian ritual in which the hearts of the couple are symbolically "forged together". The programme will also include a festive procession of newlyweds alongside couples who have been happily married for many years.
The festival's central event will be the simultaneous marriage registration ceremony. Brides and grooms from Vladivostok, Nakhodka, Chuguyevka, the Nadezhdinsky District, as well as Rostov-On-Don and Tyumen, will take part. The ceremony will feature the transfer of the flame from the All-Russian Family Hearth "Heart of Russia": newly married couples will receive a symbolic flame from Murom, the home of Saints Peter and Fevronia, the patron saints of marriage. They will also receive congratulations from distinguished public figures, while performers will provide the festive entertainment.
Festival visitors can also enjoy master classes, contests, interactive activities, programmes organised by the Movement of the First, and sporting events hosted by the Dynamo and Admiral sports clubs. For example, interactive photo booths will allow newlyweds to take photographs and, using artificial intelligence, generate an image of what their future children might look like. A food village serving dishes from Russian cuisine will also be open throughout the festival.
The Wedding Festival will also be held in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area – Yugra on the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity. Before the official celebrations begin, the couples will travel in a festive motorcade through the central streets of Khanty-Mansiysk. One of the stops will be the Archaeopark, where staff from the Torum Maa Ethnographic Museum will welcome the couples with traditional bread and perform an ancient fumigation ritual symbolising purification and blessings for a happy family life.
As in the other regions, the key event of the festival will be the simultaneous marriage registration ceremony. Couples from Khanty-Mansiysk, Yugorsk, Nizhnevartovsk, Nyagan and the Surgut District will take part. The ceremony will continue with the transfer of the flame from the All-Russian Family Hearth "Heart of Russia".
In Khanty-Mansiysk, visitors will also enjoy the choreographic performance "Khorovod. Uniting Hearts". It is based on the legend of the Great Khorovod (Round Dance) of the Peoples stretching from the Urals to the Volga and from Siberia to the eastern seas, where people joined hands in a circle to weave together the threads of destiny into a pattern of peace and unity. The performance will feature newlyweds together with students from a local dance studio. The festive atmosphere will also be enhanced by a performance from the Surgut-based cover band named Chili.
In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Wedding Festival will take place on 8–9 July. One of the most romantic events of the opening day will be a river cruise along the Yenisei followed by a wedding procession to the National Centre RUSSIA branch in Krasnoyarsk. The most anticipated event will be the simultaneous marriage registration ceremony, concluding with the transfer of the flame from the All-Russian Family Hearth. The National Centre RUSSIA will also host performances by artists, followed by a wedding photo session for the newlyweds.
The second day of the festival will feature a cultural and educational programme for newlyweds, their guests and everyone interested in marriage and family life. Participants can attend a series of lectures devoted to motherhood, fatherhood, family traditions and intergenerational relationships. A sand art workshop will also be available for both children and adults, where visitors will be able to practise art therapy, visualise their dreams through simple exercises with sand or simply relax and unwind. The programme will conclude with a psychological workshop dedicated to building healthy relationships with loved ones.
The first All-Russian Wedding Festival took place in 2024 as part of the International RUSSIA EXPO, where 221 couples were married. In 2025, the festival was held at the National Centre RUSSIA, where another 206 families were created. The event has now become an annual tradition and will continue to be held on the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity.
