On March
14, the National Centre RUSSIA will launch a series of seven educational
lectures on architecture. The sessions will be moderated by art historian and
architectural historian Yelizaveta Likhacheva. The first event, "AcademicRussia," will focus on structures where Russian science is born and
thrives.
The next
event, "Sporting Russia," will explore the architecture of sports
facilities, explaining to guests how they have become an integral part of the
country's cultural and social space.
Attendees
of the "Exposition Russia" lecture will learn about the evolution of
Russian museum architecture throughout history and how museums have provided
new forms of cultural and intellectual experiences. The lecture will also
introduce modern approaches to designing museum and exhibition spaces.
"Industrial Russia" will delve into structures that have become both
centers and monuments of industrial revolutions.
During the
"Business Russia" session, experts will discuss how architectural
solutions influence business success, shaping the atmosphere of workplaces and
communication between partners and clients. "Engineering Russia" will
highlight bold engineering solutions and groundbreaking construction
techniques.
The final
lecture, "Russian Architecture in the World," will examine the
contributions of Russian architects to global architecture, Russia's influence
on worldwide trends, and iconic projects completed by Russian specialists
abroad.
