Events digest: weekly highlights at the National Centre RUSSIA
The
President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, visited the expositions
"Journey Across Russia" and "The Birth of Scale"; the
National Centre RUSSIA hosted the IV Congress of the Movement of the First; and
the results of the "New Year Tree of Wishes" campaign were summed up
at the National Centre RUSSIA. These and other events of the past week are
featured in our digest. Let's review the highlights together.
March 24.
The National Centre RUSSIA Opened Submissions for the All-Russian Video Essay
Contest "Dreams of the Future"
The
contest, organized by the National Centre RUSSIA, aims to inspire young people
to reflect on the future and explore the works of science fiction writers.
Participating teams must create a video essay that begins with the phrase:
"We want to create a future where..." and includes a mandatory
reference to works of science fiction. Teams of five participants aged 14 to 18
can register until April 10. Video submissions are accepted on the website
dream.russia.ru until April 24. The finalists will be announced on June 1,
International Children's Day, during the awards ceremony at the National Centre
RUSSIA.

President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin Visited the Expositions of
the National Centre RUSSIA and Launched the IV Congress of the Movement of the
First
The head of
state visited the expositions "Journey Across Russia" and "The
Birth of Scale." During the meeting of the Supervisory Board of the
Movement of the First, President Vladimir Putin noted that the achievements of
our country reflect the unique character of Russia's multiethnic people and its
thousand-year history.
"We
truly have much to be proud of in various fields and in every region of our
country without exception. These accomplishments reflect the unique character
of our multiethnic people and its thousand-year history, and today's
schoolchildren, young people, I am sure, also dream of achieving significant
results valuable both for each of them individually and for all of you (now
addressing the young participants of our meeting) — results that, in the end,
will be for the good of our Motherland as a whole," said Vladimir Putin.
Then,
during a solemn ceremony, the head of state launched the IV Congress of the
Movement of the First, which took place at the National Centre RUSSIA until
March 28. More than 2,000 participants from 89 regions of Russia took part in
the Congress.
March 27.
Anastasia Zvyagina Spoke About the Complexities of Event Organization at the
National Centre RUSSIA
At the IV
Congress of the Movement of the First, Deputy Director General of the National
Centre RUSSIA Anastasia Zvyagina revealed the secrets of organizing large-scale
events and shared her personal thoughts on motivation and successful work.
Speaking
about the RUSSIA EXPO, Anastasia Zvyagina noted that this project was
implemented by decree of the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, and was made
possible thanks to the joint efforts of the entire country.
"The
RUSSIA EXPO is the idea of our President, and it was created by the President's
team — by our entire country. The project was successful precisely because we
all worked on it together. It was the Directorate, our partners, including the
Movement of the First, as well as all ministries and agencies. When the whole
country comes together for a single project, everything falls into place,"
said Anastasia Zvyagina.

Results of the "New Year Tree of Wishes" Campaign Were Summarized at
the National Centre RUSSIA
The results
of the "New Year Tree of Wishes" initiative were announced at the IV
Congress of the Movement of the First. This nationwide initiative has been
running since 2018, and over seven years, more than 320,000 wishes of children
from across Russia have been fulfilled. Each year, members of the Government of
Russia, as well as state and public figures, take part in the initiative.
March 29.
Counselor of the Embassy of the Dominican Republic Attended a Tour at the
National Centre RUSSIA
The
National Centre RUSSIA was visited by José Manuel Vargas D’Oleo, Counselor for
Trade and Economic Affairs at the Embassy of the Dominican Republic. After
touring the "Journey Across Russia" exposition, the counselor
described it as "magnificent." The foreign guest particularly
highlighted the interactive format of the exposition and the use of modern
technologies in the display.
Workshops
for Architecture Enthusiasts
As part of
the educational program of the "The Birth of Scale" exposition, a
series of workshops continues, allowing everyone to experience the role of an
architect. The sessions are led by instructors from the ANO DPO "Studio of
Architecture and Design 'FA-SAD'," Inna and Valery Salikhov.
On March
29, visitors to the National Centre RUSSIA participated in the graphic workshop
"The Face of the City." Architecture and visual arts enthusiasts
studied the map of Moscow and created their own unique graphic drawings on top
of it.
